Erman M. Demir

Erman M. Demir is a faculty member in the Department of Film Design and Management at Başkent University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture. He is also the Deputy Director of the Başkent University Creative Cultural Industries Research and Application Center (YAKEM).

Demir is a member of the UNESCO Turkish National Commission's Expert Committee on the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, the Chair of the Culture, Arts, and Design Sector Committee of the Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK), and a member of the Turkish Creative Industries Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).

His research focuses on creative industries, intellectual capital management, and entrepreneurship within the context of the creative economy. He conducts his academic work in collaboration with public institutions, local governments, and the private sector, developing projects to increase the visibility of cultural values ​​and enhance the economic and social contributions of creative talent. His consulting and project work focuses on creative economy policies and sectoral strategies, workforce planning, and intellectual capital management.
